Over the last three years, UEMSI/HTV has continually developed and field-tested its revolutionary NEW hose reel HD Swivels. These swivels are currently available in both 1” and 1 1/4” FNPT versions, though other sizes are planned in the future. The swivel also contains a proprietary high-performance non-adjustable packing seal that has been designed for harsh field conditions to withstand rust, grit and temperature.
The rotary sleeve is heat treated and industrial hard chrome plated along with the front retaining ring. The stud also has two machined flats on it to apply a wrench for installation tightening.
The housing is industrial powder painted red. Finally, the swivel is supplied with a grease fitting to be installed to freshen grease to extend the HD Swivel service life.
