Manhole Lifting- and ground-breaking too!

The all-new UEMSI/HTV U-Hook is a heavy-duty, adjustable flat and 90° combination manhole hook and chisel tool. The adjustable steel head can be turned to change its orientation to the handle 90° to best achieve results. This is simply done by loosening a fastener in the center of the head and turning the head to the ‘next’ slot and re-tightening the fastener.

Easy.

The U-Hook is not only great for popping open manhole covers, but does a great job chiseling away soil, seal coat and asphalt from the top of manhole covers and rims to gain access.

The U-Hook handle is manufactured from ¾” diameter #4130 steel round stock, while the adjustable cast steel head is designed with a pick-hook on one side and a 1 ¼” wide chisel head on the other side.

Many of our users have found other uses for the U-Hook, including in construction, demolition of drywall and plaster, siding and removal of roofing materials. The possibilities are endless.
