Over the last three years, UEMSI/HTV has received a lot of input regarding our line of leader hose. In turn, we’ve used your feedback, along with our own field-testing and industry knowledge to enhance our product line of leader hose.

The information you’ve shared, coupled with today’s state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and UEMSI’s ever-expanding market growth has led us to record sales volumes sold to our network. These high volumes of hose have in-turn given us new opportunities to offer hose through better pricing for our customers.

But evolving one of our most sought-after product lines wasn’t just about lowering cost- bringing this product to market also meant giving our customers an opportunity to have an easier-to-use product. Thus, UEMSI/HTV Premium Leader Hose has been developed, field tested and manufactured specifically for sewer jetting and cleaning operations, with two goals in-mind.

The outside hose cover/jacket had to be smooth and abrasion resistant. This was a must in order to minimize the hose’s tackiness to the pipe it is designed to slide through, reducing resistance and drag during sewer jetting operations. This is a far cry from the experience many find using other brand’s hydraulic hose which use a wrapped outer cover for this application.

Secondly, the UEMSI/HTV Premium Leader Hose must exceed 3000 PSI working pressure to easily meet the orange 2500 PSI and blue 3000 PSI thermoplastic sewer cleaning hose market needs, so that one leader hose can be used in both applications.
